For users who prefer a cutting mat work surface at all times, these unique drawing boards can be mounted in place of normal boards on all Alvin tables that accept 30" x 42" tops. The 24" x 36" gridded cutting mat, green on one side and black on the other, is truly inlaid into the board to create a flush work surface. The cutting mat won’t slide around under pressure and is easy to replace when worn out – no need to buy a new board. Durable PVC board surface with rounded corners. Durable Phenolic blade keeps parallel by gliding up and down on guide wires. Nylon bearings under straightedge assure smooth running action. Features include an elevated acrylic inking edge for smudgefree results, a twin braking system to lock straightedge securely in any position, rubber grip tracks that allow board to overhang a table edge for a comfortable working angle, and foldaway legs with non-slip rubber feet. Alvin's PLB boards provide all the features of the PXB boards but in a lightweight, easy-to-carry version. Made from lightweight LB series boards that have unfinished wood veneer surfaces top and bottom, aluminum side edges and hollow honeycomb interior. Solid wood edges and center cross frames provide strength and rigidity and are strategically placed to support the handle and legs.

Replacement parts for PXB and PLB boards

Smooth, white Melamine® (5/8" thick), portable drawing board with black vinyl-bonded edges. Features 2 strong paper clips to secure paper, 5½" support legs (for angle position), slippage control (rubber strips on under side), and foldaway carrying handle. Sets up quickly and can be extended over the edge of a table. Use with either hand.

A smooth, warp-free white Melamine laminated board with black edges. The non-slip tractor feet firmly hold the drawing board at a comfortable angle. For added convenience, a contoured handle makes it comfortable to carry. Each board is supplied with a heavyweight red fiber expanding envelope that can be attached to the underside of the board if desired.
